Lending Policy: Most videos are available to the general public for one-week periods. There is no rental fee. However, a $75.00 deposit is required for each video. Please make checks payable to: The Center for Latin American Studies. Videotapes will be mailed with insurance at no charge; all tapes must be returned with postal insurance. Upon receipt of the returned video, deposit checks will be voided and returned by first-class mail to the depositor. In addition to the Center for Latin American Studies' Video Resources, the University of Chicago Library maintains a Guide to Videorecordings held by the University of Chicago Library. Of particular interest to Latin Americanists are the Library's collections on Spanish and Latin American Authors and the Regional Category on Spain and Latin America, as well as certain titles in the Specific Group category on Amerindians.
