Annie Diamond (she/her/hers) is the Divisional Coordinator for the Social Sciences Collegiate Division and the student affairs administrator for several minors in the SSCD, including Latin American Caribbean Studies, Democracy Studies, and Geographic Information Science. She earned her BA in English and creative writing from Barnard College and her MFA in poetry from Boston University before coming to the University of Chicago, where she earned her MA in English and Poetics from the Master of Arts Program in the Humanities. She worked as the academic affairs coordinator for the Department of Middle Eastern Studies before joining the SSCD and CLAS in 2024 and, prior to beginning her career in academic administration, worked as a bookseller at the Seminary Co-op and a barista in many places. She is a poet; her poems have been published extensively both in print and online, and she is working to publish her first book.
