Juan Vicente (he, him, él) is excited to return to the University of Chicago and join the Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) as its new Assistant Director. He is eager to be part of such a talented and dedicated team. With over six years of experience in higher education, Juan Vicente has worked at several institutions, including Loyola University Chicago, Northwestern University, The University of Chicago - The Law School, and National Louis University Chicago.

This diverse background has given him a strong understanding of the challenges and needs faced by students and faculty across different academic settings. As a bilingual and multicultural professional, Juan Vicente brings a unique perspective to his work, enabling him to engage with a wide range of individuals and fostering inclusive and dynamic learning spaces. He looks forward to contributing to CLAS's continued success and growth and is enthusiastic about collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and colleagues to enhance and support a vibrant educational experience.
